Cutting-edge arrangements, tight vocal percussion and spirited harmonies are just some of the phrases used to describe Nashville-based vocal group, BREATH OF SOUL. Since 2006, the group has brought their unique a cappella sounds to concert, festival and church audiences throughout the United States and abroad.

The band originated in the Chicago area and now calls Nashville home. They have performed across the globe honing their talent and building their fan base over the last couple of years. BREATH OF SOUL has won countless a cappella competitions and has received accolades for their stellar arrangements, sheer talent, harmonic blend, strong lead vocals and their original percussive style. 

Band members Jesse Upah, Jake Black, Tony Marx and David Kempton all have music degrees and bring their individual extraordinary talents to the group. They released a record that features their unique arrangements of songs ranging from The Beatles “Come Together” to Stevie Wonders “Superstition,” and the band’s live performances of Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance” and Taio Cruz’s “Dynamite” consistently brings audiences to their feet!
